The property was centrally located. There was no parking at hotel . There was parking just around corner from hotel which was reasonably priced. It was 2.70 for day parking. The hotel was spotless. Rooms were adequate size. Staff were very friendly and courteous. The hotel had two restaurants. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. I would recommend the hotel if looking for a quiet break. There were plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs in the town. The town itself was nice but not much to do. There was castle, railway museum and canal trip. Most of this would be done in a day. There was plenty of entertainment on at night all around the town and in hotel. The town itself had not much to do.

The first room we were assigned was unacceptable because it was too small and had an uncomfortable double bed. The window view was a concrete wall. We requested another room and got a lovely large upgrade with a great view of the bay, and furnished with two beds, a very comfortable queen and a single. The spacious room was ideal for 4 nights. The staff at the hotel was wonderful-pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. A full Irish breakfast buffet was offered every morning with lighter choices available as well, such as yogurt and oatmeal. The dinner restaurant was good, and we ate several times on the outdoor patio overlooking the bay. All restaurant staff members were charming.

Breakfast buffet very good, piping hot and good choice, plenty cold options too. Room very good, large comfortable bed, big window with an amazing view, peaceful and quiet, room was at the back so I can't say how it might have been with the rooms at the front. Would definitely return to this very lovely hotel in the future. Donegal itself was vibrant, so much choice of pubs with excellent music and the restaurants were fantastic. It boasts a highly recommended Indian restaurant which we highly recommend

This hotel was nicely located in the center of town within walking distance to many pubs with live music. Blazers restaurant was a big hit with an awesome waiter. I had a really good steak for dinner. A bonus is right when we were about to hit the road to the next destination the cleaning staff found our credit card we thought we lost earlier in our trip. They called us right away and we were able to unlock it and keep using it. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

From the pictures on the website when i looked up the family room i thought i would be sleeping in one room with my kids for the whole trip. But it was a very big, two room suite (284B!). The staff was very nice. Our neighbours had an ongoing screaming match with their kid and eachother, but when i called the reception they picked it up without hestistation and fixed it for us. The kids loved the english breakfast.
